Oh this is wonderful! It’s so easy to rough in color this way. I am very happy :) It’s great for sketching ideas. I don’t know how much/if I’ll use it on finished pieces, though.

Observational onion drawing
I was looking at some onions after dinner and felt like doing a short observational drawing. One layer, no adjustment layers or filters or anything, one simple brush (a square brush) – really basic. It’s been forever since I’ve done an observational drawing that wasn’t a quick gesture, this was fun.
