Trahearne sketch from today to try some things out. Think I’d like to finish one sometime!
A few more versions I started fiddling with in the full post:
I didn’t have an idea for this one other than wanting to sketch Trahearne and practice using this brush I made a while ago (it’s a similar brush I’ve been using for my lines recently). My first thought was having the background with a greenery scene of some kind, probably Caledon somewhere (this seems to be what i default to).
I wasn’t really feeling the forest feel in the first one, and I tried doing a more Orr-inspired background here. With some vaguely more coral-like shapes, though they might look too much like tree branches here, haha.
I’m still undecided about which I’d move forward with, but it was relaxing to sketch without purpose for a bit!
