Gorrik if he was in GW3 | August 31, 2026

Silly painting I felt inspired to try drawing after chatting with a friend about the Guild Wars 3 redesign for the “asura” species, from the Guild Wars franchise, where they have a more “fuzzy” design. 

My favorite asura NPC is probably Gorrik, and I thought it’d be great fun drawing him with an overly fluffy neck, alpaca-style. I don’t entirely think this was a successful test – Gorrik looks a bit too much like he’s wearing an elaborate fur coat to me – but it was fun drawing something so silly.

  • Decided to back-post this one – this was drawn August 31, and I meant to post it earlier before now. Decided I wanted to feature the current newer posts on the sketchblog front page, and setting this post as the day the piece was drawn seems to make sense for this one!
