Clint from Stardew Valley – Practice Drawing | February 26, 2026

Practice drawing showing Clint from Stardew Valley about to strike an off-camera anvil with his hammer.
Clint – shirtless anatomy practice

I couldn’t resist having a go at drawing Clint after hearing about the Stardew Valley 10-year anniversary stream earlier today, and hearing who the new marriage candidates are. :D

Clint from Stardew Valley. Wearing his shirt this time.
Clint – sweater version

Forgive me if his body type isn’t accurate – since he’s a blacksmith, I imagined him having a husky but muscular build (banging at that anvil takes strength, right?). But he might be more idealized than he should be, since this is another of the construction anatomy practices from imagination I’ve been doing.

My purpose with those is practicing my recall of muscle groups, (also why there are likely anatomical errors).

This is also why he is shirtless lol. It’s intended as a playful drawing, and my hope was no one took it too seriously. I was just excited by the announcement. :D

Edit March 7, 2026: Added more written context behind this drawing in the above post. I added this description when posting to socials, but neglected to also add it here. I primarily use this sketchblog as personal log, and have to remind myself that even though this page is my scratchpad in many ways, something clear in my mind often might not be unless I state so outright.

I was lowkey concerned this anatomy drawing might unintentionally ruffle feathers despite my caveats about it being anatomy practice/inaccurate to his body type. I considered only posting the sweater version instead (added above with this edit), specifically because I did not want to hurt anyone’s feelings about this character.

I asked privately and was told I was overthinking it, and was recommended I post the shirtless version for the comedic value (this is a game about virtual farming! This drawing is intended as playful, not serious). I explained this when posting, but I understood there was a risk not everyone would read it. Or would choose to interpret in bad faith no matter what I wrote. Because this is the internet, there’s always some risk of that. I was pleasantly surprised most comments understood, and were kind (or very funny).

But, as expected, I did see some who unfortunately interpreted my intentions in a way I did not intend. Most seemed to understand once I clarified. Which is my purpose in adding this and the above descriptions here now!
