Site Updates

Miscellaneous housekeeping for the main page. 

• Updated various contact info.
• Added the “No genAI used in this project” section to the main page.
• Added headers for “Translations,” “Special Thanks,” and “Feedback” sections.
• Changed the “Latest update” link to link to the “Site Updates” page, instead of the individual dated update.
  • Subsequently, removed the previous “Updates Archive” link, which used to link to this page, and would now be redundant.
• Slight edits to the wording for the main description for the site to improve readability.

Preview images now supported

• Open Graph support added: When sharing a link from this website, it should now display a little preview image with your link (on the platforms that support it). I haven’t tested on all platforms yet, but it is working on at least Discord, so far!

Updates page added

• Update page: https://landylachs.com/ggundam/site-updates
• Latest updates will now be shown on this page, for improved readability on the home page.

Now, documented updates are archived on the above page for easy review.

Removed front page graphic

• The graphic caused the Open Graph preview image to not function as intended (I’d like it to grab the navbar image, not the front page graphic)

I might re-add it again in the future if I can figure a workaround, but I also sort of like the cleaner look it has now.

• Fixed the Open Graph quirks, everything should be working as intended now!

Site address moved to a new domain

• New Address: Landylachs.com/ggundam
• Old Address (will continue working): LizLiu.com/ggundam

The old address will continue working (including all old URL’s, even to individual pages), but I decided I’m going to use the “Landy” domain for my fandom and more personal/non-portfolio projects – including this one! Hopefully this address might be easier to remember, as well.

Simplified Translations Track List navigation

• Translations Track List menu item now links to the track list page, instead of also showing a drop-down menu upon hover or click.

Decided to make the menu navigation link to the Translations Track List page, instead of also acting as a drop-down menu. Now that all translations are finished, the drop-down menu looked a little cumbersome and lengthy. Linking to the page itself should make navigation less clunky, but if you preferred how the menu acted before, feel free to let me know and I’ll take any feedback into consideration!

“Latest Updates” added

• Latest updates will now be documented on the front page, under the “Site Updates” section

While making updates to this site, I thought it might be helpful to keep track of any future changes or updates made to this site.
