\"\"<\/a>I really enjoyed spending more time on the lineart here than I usually do in past drawings (before starting the comic with these two). One thing I am not very practiced with, which I would like to improve, is being more considerate with how the lineart is presented, after it is drawn. The lineart drawings I tend to be most partial to are the ones with more consideration of the presentation of the lines, and not only the lines themselves. This is something I’ve never quite understood, and that even confuses me a bit. But I also haven’t tried it very many times before. I probably just need to practice. <\/p>\n

Now I think I might be leaning more toward this one – maybe with some light shading? Or add shading to the second one. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I tend to always just paint over the lines, and most of the time, all I do to the lines is either lower their transparency or color it a tone that matches the palette for the specific painting. But  would really like to learn how to have the line color complement the painted color more. That was what I intended to do in this sketch, though I ended up mostly just spending time luxuriating in how enjoyable drawing lines is to me now, haha. <\/p>\n

This is from earlier the same day after drawing it for a while. The original doodle idea for this is quite old – from 2024 – and is basically one step up from stick figures, haha. I originally  wanted to also add it into this post, but it looks quite terrible – so the above WIP from today, where I redrew most of that original doodle, is the earliest version of this sketch I am willing to show. :p <\/p>\n
